Mercia Food Hub
Established in 2017 by Ruth, the award winning Mercia Farmers' Market is your weekly online farmers market - just think click and collect but supporting small, independent businesses - over 40 local producers, mostly within 50 miles* of Lichfield, Staffordshire, providing everything from fresh baked breads, home-made cakes, preserves, sauces and ready meals. Farmers, butchers, bakers and nurseries have joined with small businesses to create a delicious variety of food, plants and crafts. We are always looking for new suppliers to join us.
We are a Slow Food Supporter as are a number of our suppliers. It is an ethos very close to our hearts as we work to establish a Slow Food group in Lichfield.
We deliver to Lichfield and all surrounding villages, Burton on Trent, Cannock, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield. There is no commitment to buy each week.
Half of the delivery charges are donated to the YMCA Burton Foodbank each week as well as the option for customers to donate directly to this charity, who also work closely with the rough sleepers.
