Transforming Communities Together
Transforming Communities Together (TCT) is a charity formed and supported by Lichfield Diocese and the Church Urban Fund, delegated to support people and communities to thrive and flourish.
Transforming Communities Together exists to respond effectively to the issues of poverty and social justice in the Black Country, Staffordshire and northern Shropshire.
We partner with a wide range of organisations so that communities can flourish and those who are vulnerable, isolated, and disadvantaged might enjoy life in all its fullness. We follow an asset-based approach, empowering churches, other faith groups, non -faith groups and individuals to work alongside communities; listening to their needs and experience is always key to our work, as well as celebrating and recognising the good that is present.
Our work currently covers all areas of social and financial inclusion; a large part of this being Places of Welcome within the Lichfield area. Our goal is to empower churches and other faith groups, individuals, groups, and communities to respond effectively to the issues of poverty and social justice that they encounter.
