Wharfside Community Gardens
A community garden and allotment site on a former Severn Trent Water Works, which is in the heart of the South Staffordshire Coalfields Site of Special Scientific interest and a stones thrown from the Wyrley and Essington Canal. The plan is to provide access to growing space and champion environmentally friendly food production on a site that was formerly an eyesore and a carbuncle.
Our aim is to provide access to green space for children and families and encourage re-wilding projects. We have already planted over 1000 native trees and hedgerow species on site.
If you would like to apply for an allotment space then get in touch via the website.
Or email wharfside@triviumland.co.uk if you have any questions.
Address: off Whitehorse Road, WS8 7PE
