"The aim of Little Sprouts Forest School is simple; to give children a chance to reconnect with nature and learn through play and exploration. As a qualified teacher I found my calling with the Forest School ethos and approach to learning. It combines activity and adventure with education, following the lead of the children, and sparking off their interests. By day, I am a Primary School teacher, at the weekend you will find me in my outdoor classroom, helping children build physical and emotional skills, creating a sense of belonging whilst playing in nature."

Having worked with children for over 15 years from ages 3 to 11, I am inspired by their natural curiosity. I fell in love with Forest School because it gives children the opportunity to develop holistically: to be themselves, to explore, create, to develop physically and emotionally and to grow relationships with others. And, of course, it is fun and connects us to nature.
I am an advocate for families spending time outside and am fascinated by the science behind the positive effect that nature has on wellbeing, health and happiness. My favourite thing to do is spend time connecting with others while whittling something around a cosy campfire.”
